Lecture: “A Special Tribunal for The Gambia” | Dr Donnet Adhiambo Odhiambo | 16 June 2025
Donnet is an alumna of the Network. Following academic positions in Leiden and Tübingen – where she also earned her PhD – she is currently a lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya. Her lecture will focus on the Special Tribunal for The Gambia, which was established by a resolution of ECOWAS in December 2024 as a hybrid criminal court and the first mixed regional-national criminal tribunal. The Tribunal has jurisdiction over crimes committed under the regime of Yahya Jammeh in The Gambia.
