We cordially invite you to a lecture on “A Special Tribunal for The Gambia“ by Dr Donnet Adhiambo Odhiambo. The event is part of our Network and will take place on Monday, 16 June 2025 at 6:00 p.m. (CET).

Donnet is an alumna of the Network. Following academic positions in Leiden and Tübingen – where she also earned her PhD – she is currently a lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya. Her lecture will focus on the Special Tribunal for The Gambia, which was established by a resolution of ECOWAS in December 2024 as a hybrid criminal court and the first mixed regional-national criminal tribunal. The Tribunal has jurisdiction over crimes committed under the regime of Yahya Jammeh in The Gambia.
