Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Wishes

We are looking back to this extraordinary year 2021. We would like to thank all alumni and alumnae, members of the advisory board as well as friends and colleagues, who participated in our events, for a very successful cooperation in the third year of our African-German Research Network. Your unwavering willingness to participate in our network’s activities – despite all the difficult circumstances this year – is very much appreciated.

Without the various contributions it would not have been possible to conduct our online conferences. Through the participation of our alummi and alumnae, we were able to address current issues in transnational criminal law, particularly with regard to the crime of human trafficking, crimes against the environment and nature as well as money laundering and corruption.

We are already looking forward to next year’s activities where we will hopefully meet in person again. At the end of this challenging year, we wish you relaxing holidays and a happy and prosperous year 2022!
